New Sunday Tradition...

"STARBUCKS SUNDAY"! Jake and I get up (relatively) early, and go to Starbucks for a delicious cup of coffee, and then relax the rest of the day watching football (or until I go to work). I think it is a fantastic tradition that I would like to continue for the rest of my life. Love it:)

Halloween Eve

Jake and I ended up going out with friends on Halloween Eve rather than Halloween night... just decided to lay low tonight. We've have had no trick or treaters which is kinda disappointing since we bought SO much candy.

Anyways, last night we went to a few house parties and then went to a bar called The Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Here are a few pictures from our fun night...

Fantasy Football

Jake has had a Fantasy Football team for the last few years with his friends up in Washington, and I have always wanted my own team, but i've always decided to do it when it is too late. Well I guess I was wrong about the too late part, because Jake started a brand new league for just me and him so that I can finally have my own fantasy football team. October festivities

I've had the last two days off and have spent most of it with mine and Jake's great friends Adam and Rene. We went to Ikea, carved pumpkins, watched Halloween movies ("I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Army of Darkness"), and went to a haunted house (Nightmare on 13th).

Jake and Adam also played a very intense game of Madden NFL Football 10.

We had SO much fun! I can't believe that Halloween is only a week away!!! Halloween party at Adam and Rene's next Saturday:) Only have a few more items to purchase to complete my costume. It's gonna be SO cute!

Treasure Hunt

Last week I came home from work to find a Treasure Hunt waiting for me! Jake bought me a present online, and decided to make a treasure hunt for me to find it. Honestly I was starting to think that the gift itself couldn't get any better than the treasure hunt, but they were equally as cool.

He had me running all over the condo looking for the clues... here they are just because they were so fun...

#1 - In guatemala I bought a mask. GO!

Jake knew I loved this game, and he thought it would be nice to get a game that we could play together since I don't like any of the video games he plays.

It's something little, but it's something we can enjoy together. I love my Jake:)

THON Family Pictures

When Jake & I went on our road trip at the beginning of September, the whole THON family had a get together for Labor day and finally took new family pictures... we are a pretty damn good looking family if I do say so myself. Looking at these pictures really makes me miss home, and really makes me feel lucky to have such a wonderful family.

Homecoming!

This Saturday was the University of Montana Homecoming game! I watched it at Gracie's bar as usual, but with a completely different crowd. Usually the alumni that watch the game at Gracie's are older (most of them are over 35. lol)... but this week my friends Jenn and Aaron made it to the game and brought a bunch of their friends. I used to work with Jenn at the Holiday Inn in Missoula and we randomly ran into each other last year during football season in Salt Lake, so we started to watch the games together. Anyways, we played Cal Poly (which is a pretty big rival for us) so its always a good game when we play them. We were behind most of the game, and then we came back! (Both times I ran to the bathroom, we scored touchdowns, so everytime we got behind, I was banished to the bathroom. Haha)
